Our work

WORKING WITH YOU

Our furniture is truly bespoke, tailor-made to your requirements. Whether you’re a private client, a designer, an architect or a building contractor, our first priority is always to fully understand your needs.

We do this through conversations and drawings and, when necessary, site visits, scale models and prototypes.

MATERIAL GAINS

Selection of the right materials is key to the success of any project. With an extensive knowledge of British hardwoods, we will guide you on the choice of timber and select the best boards to enhance the beauty of your furniture.

As experts in the use of veneers and marquetry techniques, we can introduce colour and pattern into the piece, and we will advise you about finishes and produce samples to show you the options.

THE MAKING

Once the details of the project - the design, dimensions, materials, finish, budget and timescale – have been agreed, we issue final CAD drawings for client approval before proceeding to the manufacture.

While one of our skilled craftsmen is bringing your piece to life in the workshop, you are welcome to visit to see it progressing.

THE DELIVERY

Every project is meticulously checked and carefully wrapped before we personally deliver it.

If it’s a kitchen or other fitted furniture, we oversee installation by a trusted team of site fitters, only signing it off once all aspects meet our high standards. Whatever the piece, we’ll advise you on how to care for it and keep it in top condition.

AND BEYOND…

For many customers their first piece marks the start of a long relationship with Wardour Workshops.
